Mom had this vision of going into Woodshed Smokehouse where all the Pit Bulls from The Love Pit was gathered, she was going to talk to the nice people there, give them bandannas, and she and I were going to frolick with other cute pitties looking for homes, then, she and dad were going to have lunch, and I would probably have scored some yum yums too!
What actually happened:
Well, I don't know it was the weather with that Harvey guy in town, or maybe because mom
and dad had bought me a stupid seat belt, but I was not liking the trip. I cried, and whined, even made new noises so they would know I was serious. They stopped once to let me go potty, nope, that wasn't it!
Then, they stopped at that big store where you can buy EVERYTHING!! Mom went inside, dad decided to walk me a little more.
As we walked, I smelled it. We were getting closer! I knew I shouldn't, but I wanted to so bad! At first, I sat down by it, then overtaken by temptation, I had too!! I laid down right in the middle of it!! Dad was happy!! He told me I was a good girl! He told me how cute I was...I was so shocked, so I rolled in it some more!!
I guess maybe it was when I got up, he realized what I had done!! He must not know how wonderful rolling in it is, he wasn't happy anymore. He found a stick and started scraping it off me. Then mom came out of that big place, she was not happy either. She made me stand out in the rain, and walked with me. Back and forth, back and forth. Then, you know what she did?? She took MY Bandanna off, wiped me down with it, and THREW it in the TRASH!! I worked SO hard to get it all over!
Then Dad came back, he had bottles of water, and a towel, mom gave me a BATH right there in that place where you park by the place you can get EVERYTHING!! Humiliating!!
At least I got to play with the bottles!!
After we got home, mom made me smell good, my brother Rufus too! I let her... at least I have a nice place to sleep and my wobbie!
